Privacy without setup

A private habit tracker by default.

Your routine can reveal a lot about your life. Elegant Habits keeps habit details and history on your own devices and in your own iCloud account, instead of requiring an online account with us.

Elegant Habits settings showing privacy and CSV export controls

Privacy should be the starting point, not an advanced setting.

  • No account required
  • On-device habit history
  • User-controlled CSV export
  • Apple-managed purchases

Elegant Habits uses native iOS patterns, accessible colors, and a clear hierarchy so the interface feels familiar from the first check-in.

Why habit data deserves careful treatment

A habit list can reveal health goals, personal routines, recovery plans, beliefs, relationships, and the hours when someone is usually at home. That information may look ordinary one item at a time, but together it can become a detailed picture of daily life.

A private habit tracker reduces unnecessary exposure by collecting less in the first place. Elegant Habits does not require a profile or operate a habit-history server. Your names, schedules, goals, notes, reminders, and check-ins are stored locally first and can sync through the private database in your iCloud account.

What on-device storage changes

Local-first storage means every check-in is written on your device before private iCloud sync runs. The app opens directly into your routines without waiting for an Elegantmind account session or web dashboard.

Private iCloud sync helps keep supported Apple devices aligned, but it is not a substitute for a user-controlled archive. Elegant Habits therefore includes CSV export and a full JSON backup, so you can keep a separate copy before changing devices or removing the app.

Payments and reminders stay scoped

Optional Pro purchases are handled through Apple. The app receives the entitlement information needed to unlock and restore Pro, while Apple handles payment details. Habit reminders use iOS notification permission and are scheduled only when you enable them for a specific routine.

Privacy is not a promise that should be buried in a policy. It should be visible in the product architecture, the onboarding flow, and the controls you use every day.

Questions people ask

Can I use Elegant Habits without sharing my routine?

Yes. Habit names, schedules, notes, reminders, and completion history stay in local storage and your private iCloud database rather than being sent to an Elegantmind habit-data server.

Does a private habit tracker still let me export my data?

Yes. Elegant Habits includes user-initiated CSV export so you can save or analyze your history wherever you choose.

Are App Store purchases private?

Optional Pro purchases are processed by Apple. Elegant Habits receives the entitlement information needed to unlock or restore Pro, not your payment-card details.
